So, as I was lying on the floor, reading and virtually crying over my flu (not swine), I told mom that things aren’t going as smoothly as I had hoped I could expect (sic). I told her everything was going just… wrong. She told me everything would be ok. She told me to remember Murphy’s law.
“That law is about how if something can go wrong it will go wrong,” I told her, not really knowing if I should be amused.
“Yeah,” she said. “And therefore, if something can go ok, it will go ok.”
I smiled and shook my head.
